ok your pan is a work of art ! now can you answer my Q is there a stiffener under the pan or is the body built stiffer

had to recut the lid to fit the line of the vent it all changes when the curve changes fit, tack ,adjust, re tack fit , weld up ! then fill in the spread and re-support hey use up all that sheet metal so i need a bug to come by my house so i can see the hinge set up so i get this right ! or post a picture please !

well i got some aluminum uni strut to make the hinge support and rear bracing the green is steel for the undercarriage today burned in the rear lid now start grinding !!!!

The stiffeners are on the BODY...if I remember correctly. Look at Franks 55 vert thread..it shows how the door jams are built up. (God...I hope I'm right )
