Had a FUSE prolen this mornin....drivers headlite went dark...replaced fuse...other issues while drivin to work...loose wires on the coil...FIXED !! PHEW ! Gotta be RIGHT fer the trip to Phoenix !!!

In only 22 days, I put 2,864 miles on my precious Ruby ! Todasy I had the valves adjusted and then I changed the oil and greased the front beam. Then I cleaned the bottom of the motor with simple green. Now she's ready fer MORE travel into VW land !!!

SHE treats ME good so I had BETTER treat her good !! It's a cheap insurance policy and a bonehead like me can do it ! Jus have to take the time and DO IT ! Im no mechanic, but if I find sumthin "I" can't handle...I take her to the experts !!

Poor Ruby goes in the shop fer a rebuild on that trans. A bearing is BAD in thar sumwhere.
Last year she needed a new engine block ! This year.. a rebuilt trans! That wont deter me from drivin her to Arizona fer a trailer gathering tho !

Oh HELL YEAH !! Also retrofitting the oil cooler to allow fer the other heater box! I'm goin to the river in December fer a trailer camp out and I need heat and defrost on the drivers side too !
Then I plan on goin to Buses By The Bridge as well...Got the trailer READY fer campin !

You KNOW that "I" am missin my Ruby ! It's been only 2 days, but I'm sick already ! And I have the rest of the week to be missin her ! Waaaahhhhh !!!!
But ya also know.. when I gits her back...I'll be runnin the wheels off her !!
