SHOP DAY 1

Today was our first official Shop Day!! and it was a total success!! The day started at Cata's house with "Pantera" getting a shower!! First time Ive seen a blue nose take to the water so much!!





Then Ramon, brought over his 58 sedan to get a quick adjustment at Cata's house. It's a real nice VW I've always liked the color, and Im finally going to get to put club stickers on it!!













Then, we made our way to SHOP DAY!! It was pretty much thrown together at the last minute to help Izzy get his bug for Drag Day, but the response was pretty cool. We got a lot accomplished but we still have a few hours tomorrow to finish. I wanted to separate the projects but the pace was so fast I was just trying to keep up with the rest of the guys!! Special thanks to Andres, Spence, Rudy, Craig, Alex, Izzy and Jose for having made Shop Day a success and the first of many!! It felt good to be part of a shop day again!! Here are the pics!!













































This was my favorite part!! Check out this dash!! Andres and Spence did a great job to make it look good again in a CAL look style!!

































Tomorrow we wrap it up and give it a once over!! We have a lot of projects coming up and I'm sure more and more of the guys will participate!! Thanks again guys and see you on the next one!!

Great job guys. I wish I was there but I had to work. Then came home and finished up my customers car. Now we have room for the rag to come!

Thanks Frank, The guys really worked hard, but its always easier when you are surrounded by good friends!! I 'll have some pics tomorrow, and hopefully we will get to drive it around town!!
