It has been a long time coming, but finally I was able to do the seats on "Tony"!! My brother gave me the seat covers for my BDay last Year!! Thanks Chops!!
Here is what my interior used to look like...
Pretty shabby!! So the seats came out and the covers came off...
Then I stripped them to the springs..
Same thing with the ones in the back...
I took the front seats apart by removing the bolts on the sides and began to wrap the seats with the material to protect the foam from the springs. I used hog rings to attach the material to the seats after I cut it to size...
I used the molded foam from TMI for the front seats and regular 1 inch foam for the rear seats...
I sprayed glue adhesive to the bottom of the foam and the top of the burlap to help them stick together as I put the covers over them...
Same thing with the back seats...
Then the seat covers went on, There pretty straight forward VW provided these triangles where the covers grabs onto...

The hardest part was to carefully get the covers hard plastic into the grove at the back part...
Other than that it just takes a little patience and time and you can redo your VW with the material you want for under $250.00..
