Richard & His Bus Bus!

I met Richard not too long ago and after a couple of months he saw me with a VW shirt on and he ask me if I had a VW. We started talking about VWs and he told me that he has a '67 bus that he bought from the original owner. The original owner work at the RTD bus and retired in '71. RTD let him take some stuff from his RTD bus and installed it on his VW bus. Check it out.

I remember seeing this bus right after the original owner must have finished it. It was showroom condition and the exterior was painted the green/light green you see on the inside, which at the time was the paint scheme of the RTD buses.

The original owner was very proud of it.

I'm the guy he bought the bus from. Don't know where he got the story he told you but it's not correct. I was the 2nd owner of the bus. I bought it from an elderly lady who's son was the original owner. He passed and the bus was just sitting. It's a long story. Richard bought the bus from me. It was my pride and joy. I met my wife in this bus. I went through a rough year and couldn't find any work. Richard sought me out wanting to buy the bus. I kept refusing. Them he made me an offer of employment if I sold him the bus. With the stipulation that he would sell me back my baby whenever I wanted it. I ended up selling him the bus since he seemed like a stand up guy. Even reassured my wife that he would honor his word. I started working for the window company he worked for. Was there for a few months and never received a paycheck. They screwed me over. So not only was I more broke and now had no savings. I was also without my prized possession. Ontop of this Richard refused to sell my bus back to me. Pretty shitty deal. If this gets back to Richard (which I hope it does) karmas a bitch man. You fucked me over and your gonna get it back 10 fold.
