I'm tryin to git a cruise started to Big Bear...Sat 18 Sept 2010...We'll meet at the park at the bottom of Hwy 18 off the 210 near Highland. Prolly leave the park and head up to Blue Jay (Lake Arrowhead) and have breakfast( HUGE parkin lot fer us ALL to park together)...then take Rim Of The World Hwy to Big Bear and park again and shop ther Village and maybe have LUNCH there...then cruise AROUND the Lake and come back down...Prolly would be a WHOLE day event, but lotsa stops fer PHOTO OPS ( DHK's Photo of the Month )
We can postpone it or reschedule till prolly Oct...fer now, I'm tryin to see WHO is interested and if 18 Sept ( Saturday) will work fer everyone.

Mines NOT ready, found out yesterday, one of my carb is not working at all. Just had the shits rebuilt less two months ago. THATS SOME BULLSHIT right ther'... You expect the shit to be done right when you pay good money..

We will be meetin up @ Wildwood Park on 40th St. and Waterman. Take the 210 to Crestline/Lake Arrowhead (hwy 18) and turn left over the freeway...about amile or so on the left at the lite...there is a Chevron gas station on the left corner and the park is directly across the intersection on the right...we will be leaving promptly at 9 am...be gassed up ,and ready to go
we will go up to Blue Jay turn off and have breakfast at Bill's Villager restaurant on the right side of the nroad...we can park together at Jensens Mkt parking lot on the left...across the street
Then it's back up to hwy 18 and cruise to Big Bear...lotsa turn outs fer pics...bring yer camera !!
Arriving in Big Bear Village fer sum shoppin and lunch and then off to cruise around the lake...lotsa photo opps again..and then back down the mountain
Hope to see a buncha VWs tomorrow....
