I did...that shit cost me $250 jus fer the WOOD ! I loved the grain and the look of thayt bamboo, but I only showed it off a coupla times. Decided that the galley was MORE important than a nice lookin floor !
The floor weighed in at 75 lbs !!! That's a LOTTA weight fer a floor that is ONLY "cosmetic". I most usually put mosta my campin gear IN the trailer.. in tubs..so I figured I'd put the galley in and sum shelves and save me a LOTTA hassles with tubs and a suitcase full of clothes.
No more tubs.. no more suitcase...and I only gained 35 lbs with EVERYTHING in the trailer.. minus the bitchin floor ! That was the best idea to git rid a that flooring. The sub-floor is 3/4 in plywood...that's heavy enuf ! I'da used 1/2 in ply...
