Come CELEBRATE Ryan’s SURPRISE 30th Birthday with a Classic Car Show! Do you have a classic car? Bring it! We are going to set up all of the classic cars together- with Ryan’s 1961 Volkswagen Bug as the star! While you look at cars, you will enjoy music from the 50’s & 60’s, games, prizes for best cars, an awesome time with friends & family, Cake, and best of all the In-N-Out Cookout Truck will be serving us all lunch! We will be providing each guest with a ticket that ensures an In-N-Out burger, chips and a soda (sorry guys, no French Fries on the In-N-Out Truck).
As a substitution for gifts we are asking every guest bring an unwrapped toy to help Ryan’s Toy Drive: Wish Upon a Toy, which benefits the Children at City of Hope Cancer Hospital.

Wish Upon A Toy
Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions
~ 1 John 3:18
Our Mission is to Bring joy, however brief it may be, to the children of the City of Hope Cancer research center.
“Wish Upon a Toy” was created in 2004 to benefit the pediatric patients of the City of Hope cancer research hospital. These brave children spend much of their time at the hospital undergoing various treatments. While many will be successfully treated, sadly for some of these children, it will be their last Christmas. It is with that knowledge that “Wish Upon a Toy” strives to make each Christmas the best that it can possibly be for these children and their families.
In 2009 “Wish Upon a Toy” grew with such success that it was able to encompass not only the pediatric ward but also the whole hospital. For the first time adult patients were able to stop by the “Toy Store” and select gifts for their children or grandchildren. The joy that was brought to these adult patients was immeasurable. Many of them were experiencing times of great financial difficulty due to enormous medical bills, and the majority of them were not able to leave the protectiveness of the hospital due to incredibly weak immune systems. With the creation of the “Toy Store” these adult patients were able to experience the joy of shopping for their children and the happiness of watching their children open gifts Christmas morning.
Wish Upon a Toy collects new unwrapped toys and gifts for children of all ages, from toddlers to teens and everything in between. While everything is gladly accepted it is good to keep in mind that many of these gifts will be enjoyed in the hospital. Please look below for a list of potential gift ideas. If shopping isn't for you no worries, we also accept Target gift cards that can be used to purchase gifts for the children.
board games, coloring books, puzzles, dolls, cars, books (both Child and Teen), action figures, video games, DVD's (every room has a tv/dvd), building blocks, legos, stuffed animals, educational games, hand-held electronic games/devices, remote control cars, electronic pets, iTunes Gift Cards, etc.
Basically if it's a toy on a store shelf and you think that a child could or would enjoy it then it works!
