Went to a car show last nite and git locked outta my car( long story).. had to call a friend to bring a coat hanger and screw driver( and a hammer jus in case )
Well, here I am, so go figure ! Took promotors choice at the show !! Woo Hoo !!

Wednesday nite 04 April, I got off work a little late. (It was NDK's ONE YEAR anniversary !) Went to start the car and... NUTHIN ! The hot wires at the celenoid were severed. The backin had disinigrated...?? So I had ta take my truck to the anniversary party and got there late as well.
Got a replacement starter/celenoid and I'm back on the road again !

Today.. I was takin the trailer to the park.. got 3 miles from home on a busy city street and .... WHUMP !! The clutch pedal hits the floor ! Took a couple a right turns and ran a red lite and 3 stop signs to git home. Only had ta stop once !
Turns out the clutch cable slipped off the J hook at the pedal assembly ! Wasn't lookin forward to replacin the cable tho I have one in my "road kit"
Took out my trusty IDIOT book and fixed the prollen right away. They wrote that book jus fer ME !!
Now.. as Willie Nelson would say, "Back on the road again"

DOH ! Did a newbie mistake !! The cable came off cause it FRAYED,stretched, and came off....I reinstalled the same cable without inspectin the cable..
Well... it finally snapped today ! Took about an hour, but I replaced it and tomorrow I will readjust it after it stretches a bit.
Lesson learned... cables do NOT come off a new J hook unless they are frayed or jus plain broke !
