Hello, I'm TK-60. I was born on Aug 1959 in Wolfsburg Germany. I was shipped to the US the following month.
In the 60's my owner used to Smoke Box me all the time. The hippie didn't drive me to Woodstock but he made up by driving me to Monterrey
In the 70's my interior was swapped for some purple plush shit.
In the 80's I was some sort of baja bug.
In the 90's they turned me in to some gangsta ride. I got bullet holes to prove it.
In the new century I was put in a garage and left to rust.
On Sep 2007 I was dragged to a place called, "The Pomona swap meet". I was dragged by a tow bar and let me tell you, it is the equivalent to a human being pulled by the balls (use a flat bed people). There I was bought by a Mexican kid who don't know shit about VW's. I was worried because this guy likes Star Wars and I thought, "this MOFO is gonna turn me into r2-d2 or some shit". Luckily I see him buying resto parts, like an OG manual from Big Frank, so when he's done I think I'll look shy of how I looked on Aug 1959.
