The weather was damn near PERFECT the whole time ! Cept for the ride through Blythe to Beaumont ! The winds were FEROCIOUS !! Coming HOME !!! 50 -60 mph winds !! VERY DANGEROUS ! Haven't heard from Herb bout pulling that trailer in THOSE winds...

Joey and I were the only ones together on the trip TO Phoenix. herb & John left about 2hrs AFTER. We drove 70mph and she was turning 2400 rpm...oil temp was 180 - 190. She wanted MORE, but I don't NEED to go any faster. Average mpg was 23 . I'll be looking into INCREASING the mpg...All in all, a VERY GOOD trip for the new power plant !!!!! VROOM !The NEW project ought to do as well...VEGAS here we come !

BOTH directions !! Took off the swamp cooler for the trip TO phoenix and took off the roof rack items for the ride home..didn't lose ONE flower...amazing when you figure in the ferocious winds from Blythe to Beaumont ! It was the BEST road trip EVER ! I don't even think the trip to Vegas could be better...Only hope we have MORE VWs for that trip !
