I bought the oval just for the parts. I took a few parts to give them to the vert like the four original fenders. and other small parts but since then I found all four original fenders to put them back to it. I also, found the original front seats and the back seat along with the upholstery and the four panels. I have other parts that I got for it as well. The oval is original from Arizona. It was bought new in '55 and in '57 came to California to, guess what city? Westminster, CA and that's the same city I leave!  . I got it from the original owner well, from one of her family but the car is still under the OG owner. it was disassemble back in the early 80's and left alone since then till i found it. Original color looks like light beige (L 275). According to the samba that was a color till march of '55 and the oval is mid May '55. If thats the case then it should be Nile beige (L 370). the original interior was red. I still have the original door panels and I had the original upholstery for the back seat (throw that away). |
