my co-worker /friend
bought a bucket 66
hit in the front ,rotted doglegs
caved drivers door rusted front window frames
no cab floors !
all rubber was cracked black chalk!
bumpers bent up !
big whole in seat area in front of slider
side punched on the drivers side hard
and rear corners crunched !
50lbs of plaster of Paris on the roof !
Ive spent 3 years of my time an hour hear a few hours there
Ive done all the work
everything
cut ,grind weld ,body ,prime ,paint ,install windows ,as you see it now
I'm almost done and i want him to buy the interior panels but he say no more $$$
so far a Little less then 2 k for the restoration in sheetmetal paint and materails !
nothing paid for my labor !
i want a new set of wires too !
i know it dont look like a pro but hey i did it in my driveway
he paid 3 k
and seemed it was a good deal
so the deal was he pays i do the work we sell and split the profit!
he bought me the ghia for 900 !
so im good !
he's got like 6k in it + or-
new rims new tires !
any way its been a project for me !
and it's dirty !
