hey anyone know how to set the radio stations on the buttons on the original radios?

Pull the button OUT and then PUSH it IN...That sets the station....uhhhh...that's what an old timer TOLD me any way ! Muahahahahaha !! Then you just PUSH IN the button and it tunes in to THAT station... I remember that from my Dad's old cars...I mean...I read that somewhere..

Thanks Robert!! Your absolutly right!! You pull out the black button then switch to the station you want and once you have it just push the butoon all the way in and release and the station is set how cool is that!!

I want to get MY original radio working this year ! It just needs to be converted to accept 12 volt instead of six...some sorta resistor thingy...maybe i'll even look into an 8 track player even

Yea there kind of weired, I found mine when the guys bought the buses and bug from that one guy, he had it in his garage and threw it in during the sale!! I found all the parts ie. faceplate, knobs, and speaker and just finished wiring it up, It sounds ok pretty nostalgic of when I was small and my dad had his bug. Just have to get used to only hearing the music come from behind the steering wheel!!
