How difficult is it to replace the rear window rubber ? I'm c ertain that "I" would NEVER attempt the front windshield, but I believe it's MUCH easier to replace the rear window rubber. Anyone got experience with that ? My rubber is original and cracked etc...it leakes too and that is why I want to replace it.

All four window are the same to do, the biggest thing is to not be afraid of them... 1) To remove the old rubber from the front and back just cut it all up until you free the window and are able to push it out from the inside. 2) To replace the window put the new rubber around the window and spray some WD-40 (or any lubricant) to help get the window in.. You will see a chanel in the molding all the way around it, put a strong string in there, Here we used thick Speaker wire (that was what we had available and it worked great) Place the window in the bug opening preferably the bottom first and set the channel in the molding to grab both sides of the sheet metal, Here is the fun part get someone to help you from the outside put preasure on the window as you pull the string out of the channel and help one side of the channel fall over the sheet metal, and the preasure this createsd is all that holds the windows in!! No glue or screws!! You gotta love the SHOP DAYS!! Always learn or get to practice something new!!
