tranny seals help anyone done this

It is a very resourceful site!!

But check it out to take care of the leakage in your transaxle it's gonna be a good project nothing impossible but be ready for it. The motor will be removed, thats easy, then remove the tranny, I believe there is 5 gaskets between the metal parts, once those become soaked even if you retighten the bolts the oil still finds a way out. You can tackle the project, if you need help I have pics of when we did Kaz's tranny if you need them if you have any questions you got my number!

nice foo thanks.... i yeh i was tallking to my schol instructor we gonna check it out manana... oh this week i did friends valve springs and well pulled cylinder 1 cause it was broken and well tranny sounds kinda of easy now that.... im taking this class and took a chrysler transaxle apart and well i heard for these trannys to rebuild there alt of special tools needed thanks serg

But Armando honestly if you are thinking of being a mechanic as a carrer buying tools is not an expense its an investment.

Thanks Frank I liked it cause they use layman's terms and they make it kind of easy like a modern "How to keep your volkswagen alive!!" and trust me it has gotten me out of a few messes!!

i wish i knew how to rebush and tune carburators though that be nice ruight about now... btw its been a while i havent been here i fixed the tranny leak long ass time ago stoopid sideplate seals and inputshaft seal were all done for also painted tranny black for some reason .... but know i have moved on and have a carburator that the bushing took a shit and now im carburatorless.....i wish it was fuel injected right about now...lol
