Anybody work onyour VWs today? Sundays are always pretty lazy around my house. Trying to take the wife and VW to the Venica canals today and scrape up the bridges a little!! LOL What do you do on Sundays!@!

Here's a couple of pics of the canals pretty cool spot to go walk at...

Take the 405 north to the 90 west (Marina de Rey Freeway) until it ends, go straight and make a right at lincoln, Then a left at Washington until you get to Dell St. make a right there and start looking for parking before you get to 28th st and you can see the first bridge from there...



















We even had a VW Sighting!!!





and of course we did some scraping over there!! LOL

TODAY....I put up a NEW tarp cover over Ruby and cleaned up my patio area so the rain will DRAIN and NOT flood my humble abode. Then I went to my brothers house to help make drainage for all the rain to FLOW away from HIS place...dug ditches and filled sand bags. NOT my usual Sunday, but work that NEEDED to be done !

My Sundays...., well....,
it really depends if I work the night before or not and if I have to work that night too. If I work both night my Sunday start like this. I go to work Saturday evening and I usually get off anywhere between midnight to 2am (Sunday morning) get home about 45 minutes later. By the time I get ready to go to sleep another 30 minutes or so passed. I get wake up about 8am to 10 am depending on the time I got off the night before. Get a cup of coffee maybe two. Turn on my computer to check my emails and surf the net for a few minutes then eat breakfast. watch TV, maybe the NFL game and then start getting ready to go to work. I usually start work anywhere between 3pm - 4:30pm so I have to leave home no later than an hour before I start my shift.
If I don't work on Sunday, then we tried to go out maybe have either lunch or diner and catch a movie or something like that.
When I had my vert we used to go out for a cruise up and dpwn PCH. Maybe from Seal beach to Laguna Beach.

If I don't work the night before then sometime we get up early and hit the swapmeet! even if we don't buy anything we just go for the walk but sometime we find something that we just have to have even if we don't ned it. ;D

I play bowling every Sunday.
