Hey, I hail from the Bay Area in the Houston, TX. area. My name is Dave and I drive my weekend basher when the time and weather permits. Here is a shot of my '69. Our club was at the San Jacinto Monument when we took pix.  Cool site and I hope one day to come back to the San Diego area to see another Hot VW Drag Days like I did back in '05. |

Hey, thanx for that. I will make it out there on of these days. I am going to Vegas on the week of July 14 - 17 with a buddy of mine. I am taking a month vacation and this will be my first time there. Anyone going there as well?

 A month! Nice! I'm planning to go to Vegas in October for the VW Bugorama show weekend. Your first time! It a great experience you'll enjoy it.

To answer some questions, my best time is 13.5 at 97.11mph. Since then I have replaced the cam with a E125 and upped the comp a bit. Ain't run it yet.
My vacation runs from July 4 to Aug 3. The classic is out for me...sad to say...
I will have way more pix after this weekend...
